Short Pixie Hairstyles
A pixie cut refers to a short woman's hairstyle generally short on the back and sides of the head and slightly longer on the top. Women began exploring shorter hairstyles in the 1920s and was widely popular by rebelling women known as flappers. It has since been a roller coaster trend and has been reappearing and disappearing frequently throughout the years. A pixie cut is usually associated with bold women who aren't afraid to be daring. In the past year the pixie cut has been brought back into the spotlight, being worn by world famous stars and models such as Alyssa Milano, Rihanna, Katie Holmes, Agyness Deyn, Elisha Cuthbert, Victoria Beckham and others. Here are some samples of short pixie hairstyles.

ReplyDeleteI think the first one on the top is the most attractive. It doesn't look like she just got out of bed or sleezy. Although it is a pixie style, it still looks classy!

ReplyDeleteI actually have very short hair because it's growing out after having lost it during chemo. So, I'm going the opposite direction, and looking for ways to style my short hair. I really like the hair in Pink's photo. I'm thinking my hair may be that length....I don't know if I should cut my bangs or not. They tend to stick out in front of me. Not up, but out, and they are hard to control. Never had that problem before. If anyone knows of a way to handle that problem...go ahead and post it here, I'll check back. :)

ReplyDeleteTry a small amount of styling gel. Avoid wet looks! (Its nearly always a bad idea :P)
I've recently cut my hair short to avoid maitainance issues (I really can't be bothered!!) and lo and behold; its harder to deal with short. *sighs*. Well, good luck with styling ur hair and hope u stay strong thru your chemo xx
